Leo Fire Co. participated in the Annual St. Baldrick's Shaving in which money is raised for kids with cancer.

 

January 2007

Leo Fire Co. was awarded the 2005-2006 Volunteer Fire Company Grant from the PA OSFC.  This grant was awarded in the amount of $7,465.00 and was to help reduce the expense of our new station as well as purchase a used Thermal Imaging Camera, a new set of gear, and cover the cost to have 11 Firefighters attend the Fire I/II Training Course.

 

January 2007

Leo Fire Co. was awarded to 2006 Fiscal Year AFG Grant in the amount of $56,449 through the Department of Homeland Security.  We will be able to purchase 2 ward diesel exhaust systems, 2 MSA Thermal Imaging Cameras, 25 Personal Self Rescue Ropes, 4000' of hose, 3 straight bore nozzles, 1 portable deluge set, & 2 A/C Hot Stick Voltage Adapters.  This is the first time that Leo has been approved for this grant.

 

January 2007

Leo Fire Co. was awarded a grant from the EHSF in the amount of $325 toward the cost of the upgrades to 2 AED's to meet the new CPR guidelines as well as become compliant for use on children ages 1-8.
