National Fallen Firefighter Memorial Sunday, October 5, 2008 - Red Lion Fire Company was invited to participate in the service held in Emmitsburg, MD. This service honored the firefighter line of duty deaths from 2007 from across the US. |

4 Alarm Apex Fire, Red Lion Borough May 6, 2008 - Station 34 was dispatched to a structure fire at Apex around 1 PM. 2nd Alarm was dispatched immediately with a working fire on scene at the rear of the Apex building. 2 man Engine crew was first on scene from Station 34. Truck 34 was currently out of service. Crews from 12 stations assisted throughout the afternoon in putting the fire out. Stand-by stations for 34 included Columbia Truck 8-1, East Prospect Truck and Shrewsbury's Rescue. Crews returned to station at approx. 8 PM. 34 Crew did return the following day to assist the Fire Marshall. |

March 31 - RIT 34 responded to a porch fire in Hopewell Township. Upon arrival, Chief 54 reported fully involved structure fire. RIT 34 stoof by on scene until released from the scene. |

Friday, January 25 - Rescue 34 responded with a crew of 5 as 2nd due Rescue for Box 45 for a 1 car accident with reported entrapment, but was only confinement upon arrival. Cribbing had been completed by Station 45 by the time Rescue 34 arrived on scene. FF Allison used the recipricating saw to remove the windshield and cut the A post. FF Smith used the cutter to cut the other A post. At the same time Asst. Chief Young and FF Mooney used 45s hydraulic tools to cut thru the rest of the posts. A relief cut was made and the roof was flapped down. 45 and 34 crews worked to secure the pt. onto a backboard and assisted in loading him in the ambulance. |
