Rescue 34 Leo Fire Company's truck committee spent much time researching both pieces of equipment that have been purchased. Much time was spent with manufacturers visiting Leo Fire Company to decide which piece was best suited within the budget for the area we serve. The new Rescue is a 2008 demo model Pierce with approximately 8,000 miles on it. This unit will serve as an Engine/Rescue meeting the York County Rescue specs. This piece will replace the existing Rescue 34. The 2008 Pierce Arrow XT Puc Rescue Engine was delivered to Glick Fire Equipment in PA on Monday, November 23 and is having a light tower installed on it as well as a generator and rescue tools.
