4 Alarm Structure Fire at Apex

Station 34 was dispatched to a structure fire at Apex around 1 PM May 6, 2008.  2nd Alarm was dispatched immediately with a working fire on scene at the rear of the Apex building.  2 man Engine crew was first on scene from Station 34.  Truck 34 was currently out of service.  Crews from 12 stations assisted throughout the afternoon in putting the fire out.  Stand-by stations for 34 included Columbia Truck 8-1, East Prospect Truck and Shrewsbury's Rescue.  Crews returned to station at approx. 8 PM.  34 Crew did return the following day to assist the Fire Marshall.
