W. Broadway Structure Fire

On the crisp morning of November 19, 2005, a reported structure fire was reported. Upon arrival at the scene, Engine 34 driven by Driver Walsh discovered a well involved 2 story balloon frame residential construction spreading to the next door residence. Hand lines were stretched to both residence and fire attack began. Truck 34 operated by FF Young went to the back alley and set for elevated master stream. Many neighboring companies were called for additional manpower and resources throughout the morning. The fire was contained to the 4 units in the 2 homes. Both homes have been rebuilt since the fire.
