2011 Appreciation Banquet
Red Lion Fire Company's Annual Appreciation Banquet was held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Kerry's Green in Red Lion. PA State Police Deputy Fire Marshall Pat McKenna was the guest speaker for the evening. Awards were given to the following individuals:
- Firefighter of the Year - Ken Hyde, Chief Engineer
- Member of the Year - Bill Berger, Lt. 34-2
- Chief's Award - Firefighter Barry Kidd
- Medal of Honor - Patrick Mooney & Casey Raver
- On January 4, 2011 these two firefighters removed another firefighter who had fallen through the floor and was trapped on the 2nd floor in a structure fire.
- To be a recipient, the firefighter must be a member of the department who, under hazardous and extreme conditions, while knowingly being confronted with imminent and certain risk to his/her own life and well being, performs such an act of discernible heroism which reflects and upholds the greatest ideals and traditions of the department.

- On November 4, 2010, Rescue 34 responded to an MVA on Snyder Corner Road and performed an unusual extrication.
- Individual Citation - Tim Mooney
- On Septmber 15, 2011 Deputy Chief Mooney responded to a lift assist and went above the call of duty to remove a patient from his home in a dignified manner.
- Life Membership - Tim Mooney & Patrick Mooney
- Pins were given to members who responded to 7 extrication calls in 2011 that utilized the Holmatro tools.
- Plaque was given to Chief Dan Orwig for 30 years of serving as Chief of Windsor Fire Co.
- Plaque was given to Chief Barry Myers for 22 years of serving as Chief of Yoe Fire Co.
- Plaques were given to Franks Marble & Yorktowne Cabinets for their donation of materials during the rennovations of the "Lion's Den".
- A Plaque was made to thank the volunteers for the countless hours put in during the storms of 2011 including Windsor Tornados, Hurricane Irene & Tropical Storm Lee.
