Recruitment of New Members
We are always looking for new members to volunteer in the community. If you are interested in helping out others and volunteering your time, please feel free to fill out an application. Return the application along with copies of any prior training certificates and the $15 application fee which covers the cost of your background check. Your application will be voted on within 2 months at our monthly meeting. Click link below to print the application and drop off today!
Firefighter
Are you interested in firefighting, vehicle rescue or maybe being an EMT? We will train and provide gear at no cost to you other than your time. You will be required to meet certain training requirements before you are able to ride the apparatus. If you already have the required training, then you will be considered on Probationary Status for 90 days. Explorer Post 343
Are you between the ages of 14-17? Then this is the place for you! Explorers have their own meetings, weekly trainings and learn what it takes to be a firefighter. With the required training, you will be allowed to ride apparatus once you turn 16. You can help at fire scenes and public service events, and learn alot along the way! The Explorer Post is a subdivision of the Boy Scouts but designed to focus on fire oriented teens.
Fire Police
Do you think you would like to direct traffic and secure fire scenes? We will provide you with the required training and gear needed in order to stand out there and face the traffic!
Social
Would you like to help in other ways? You can assist in fundraising in this division. Social members have their own by-laws and meetings and organize events and fundraisers within the community to aid the firefighters. No experience or training required!
